Regional Meteorological Centre Inaugurated in Lucknow
On 8th June 2026, Union Minister Jitendra Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath jointly inaugurated the new Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Lucknow to strengthen weather forecasting and disaster management services in northern India.
- The Centre will provide localized and impact-based weather forecasts for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and adjoining regions, enhancing weather monitoring and dissemination services.
