India–France Collaborate on World’s Largest Museum
India and France Museums Développement (FMD) have partnered to develop the Yuga Yugeen Bharat National Museum in New Delhi, as part of the Central Vista Redevelopment Project.

- MoU Signed: Dec 19, 2024, between FMD & National Museum of India
- Size: 1,55,000 sq. m — set to be the world’s largest museum
- Implementation
- Phase 1 – North Block: Ministries to relocate by March 2025; museum transformation by June 2026
