Republic Day, 2025

India celebrated 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025 with parade of tableaux from various states and military contingents.

  • The chief guest for the 2025 parade was Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
  • A unique cultural performance titled "Jayati Jaya Mamaḥ Bharatam", featuring 5,000 folk and tribal artists performing 45 dance forms, curated by the Sangeet Natak Academy was displayed.
  • The theme for Republic Day 2025 was "Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas" (Golden India: Heritage and Development).

  • First place — Uttar Pradesh (Mahakumbh 2025 - Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas)
