ShakthiSAT
The ShakthiSAT mission has been initiated by Space Kidz India, a Chennai-based startup, which has launched 19 near space launch vehicles, three suborbital payloads, and five orbital satellites, including AzaadSAT.
- The satellite was announced on Jan 16, 2025.
- 'ShakthiSAT', an all-girl team comprising nearly 12,000 participants (from about 108 nations), majorly students, to launch an orbiter to the Moon in September 2026.
Key Features
- Participants learn space tech, satellite design, and contribute to Chandrayaan-4.
- Includes online training in spacecraft systems and orbital mechanics.
