The Smriti Van Earthquake Museum, located in Bhuj, Gujarat, has won the Prix Versailles Award by UNESCO, making it the first Indian museum to receive this honor.
- On June 13, 2024, the list of the World’s Most Beautiful Museums for 2024 was published under the Prix Versailles, marking the first-ever release of such a prestigious ranking.
