Changathi Literacy Project
- The Literacy Mission in Thrissur organized the Changathi literacy examination, aiming to teach migrant workers to read and write Malayalam and Hindi.
- The Changathi project has been envisaged by the literacy mission for teaching migrant labourers to read and write Malayalam and Hindi.
- The programme was first launched on August 15, 2017, in Perumbavoor which has the highest concentration of migrant labourers.
- It addresses the exclusion faced by migrant workers in Kerala by enabling them to understand the socio-cultural aspects of the state.
