ISRO Unveils Second-Generation Distress Alert Transmitter
On 15th January, 2024, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) introduced an advanced 'Distress Alert Transmitter' (DAT) with enhanced satellite communication and navigation capabilities, enabling real-time emergency messages from fishing boats.
