India Receives Fourth S-400 Squadron

Recently, India received the fourth squadron of the S-400 Triumf air defence system from Russia, further strengthening its long-range air defence capabilities and layered air defence architecture.

  • Type: Long-range Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) system.
  • NATO Designation: SA-21 Growler.
  • Capable of engaging: Aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles , cruise missiles & ballistic missiles.
