European Union Unveils New Strategic Agenda for India
On 17th September 2025, the European Union announced a “New Strategic EU-India Agenda” to elevate bilateral relations across trade, technology, defence, security, connectivity, and climate.
Global & Regional Cooperation
- Mutual Benefit Perspective: India’s growth as a global power creates opportunities that benefit both India and the EU.
- Connectivity Initiatives: Support for India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), Global Gateway, and EU-India trilateral cooperation with third countries.
- Multilateral Engagement: Encourages India to advance international law, global governance, and multilateral values while strengthening coordination at all levels.
- Mobility & Business Collaboration: Proposes frameworks for study, work, and research mobility, the pilot European Legal Gateway Office, EU-India ....
