- Built on the Chromium framework, Comet supports Chrome extensions, syncs user settings, and integrates Perplexity's answer engine powered by models like GPT-4o and Claude 4.
- Unlike the Perplexity browser, Comet operates locally, offering full control, real-time context awareness, and seamless interaction with open tabs, services, and logged-in sites without extra authentication.
