Paraguay President Peña visited India from June 2–4, 2025, to mark the 64th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

Key Agreements

  • Counter-Terrorism and Multilateral Cooperation: Support for a unified international response, including the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism.
  • Trade and Investment: Agreed to expand trade under the India-MERCOSUR Preferential Trade Agreement. Technical dialogues to address market access and deepen economic ties.
  • Space and Technology: Focus on satellite launches, Earth observation, and signing an MoU on peaceful space use.
  • Education and Culture: Proposal to sign an MoU in higher education for curriculum development and digital education.
