Guinness World Record for Solar Pumps
- Recently, Maharashtra created a new Guinness World Record by installing 45,911 solar agricultural pumps within a single month.
- Guinness World Records judge Carl Saville announced that the required benchmark was 35,000 pumps, which Maharashtra significantly exceeded.
- The record was achieved through the combined efforts of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) and the state’s “Magel Tyala Saur Pump Yojana,” implemented by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited ....
