  • Madurai’s Vilacheri clay toys remain one of the most prominent centres of terracotta toy-making.
  • Ambasamudram in Tirunelveli is renowned for lacquered wooden toys, including:
    • Miniature musical instruments
    • Baby walkers
    • Kitchen toy sets
