Toxic Contamination in Ganga Threatens Gangetic Dolphins
In May 2025, the Wildlife Institute of India published a study which revealed alarming levels of toxic chemicals in the Ganga River, endangering the health and survival of the Gangetic dolphin, an already endangered species.
