SpaceX Launches Historic Fram2 Mission

On 31st March 2025, SpaceX launched its sixth private astronaut mission—Fram2—from the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

  • The mission includes four commercial astronauts led by a crypto entrepreneur and is the first human spaceflight to orbit Earth from pole to pole.

Mission Overview

  • Fram2 is a private astronaut mission using SpaceX’s reusable Crew Dragon spacecraft.
  • It is the 16th crewed mission overall for the Dragon capsule, developed with NASA funding.
  • The spacecraft will follow a polar orbit, a path never before taken by humans.
  • The crew will conduct 22 experiments on muscle mass, skeletal health, mental well-being, and biological growth in microgravity.
