Successful Trials of Long-Range Glide Bomb Gaurav
Between 8 and 10 April 2025, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted the Release Trials of the Long-Range Glide Bomb (LRGB) ‘Gaurav’ from a Su-30 MKI aircraft.

- Weapon Class: ‘Gaurav’ is a 1,000 kg-class indigenously developed glide bomb with a range of nearly 100 km and pin-point accuracy.
- Trial Platform: Trials were conducted using the Su-30 MKI aircraft, targeting land sites on islands.
- Multi-Configuration Testing: The bomb was tested across multiple stations with different warhead configurations.
