Answer: Plato’s identifies four cardinal virtues that are necessary for a happy individual. They are Moderation, Courage, Wisdom and Justice.
- Moderation is aimed at rational self‐control. This virtue is most relevant in current economy driven by excessive wastage of natural resources. As Gandhi said, “There is enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.”
- Courage is the knowledge of what inspires fear or confidence. In today’s challenging times of climate change, on-going Covid Pandemic people need courage to tackle these.
