Answer: Flex-fuel or flexible fuel is an alternative fuel made of combination of gasoline and methanol or ethanol. Flex fuel vehicle is a modified version of vehicles that could run both on gasoline and blended petrol with different levels of ethanol blends.
The potential advantages of using flex fuel technology are:
- It enables the use of bio-fuels which are better than petrol as they are cost effective, reduce import bill and are environmentally clean
