Nepal Joins International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA)

On24th August 2025, the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) announced that Nepal officially became its member by signing the Framework Agreement.

  • The IBCA was established to promote global cooperation in conserving seven big cat species, including tiger, leopard, and snow leopard.
