UPPCS (Main-Special) Questions for GEOGRAPHY (First Paper) 2004

Time allowed : Three hours] [Maximum Marks : 200

नोट:-

  1. प्रत्येक खण्ड से कम से कम दो प्रश्न चुनते हुए, कुल पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए।
  2. सभी प्रश्नों के अंक समान हैं।
  3. अपने उत्तर को समुचित रेखा-मानचित्रों और आरेखों की सहायता से स्पष्ट कीजिये।

Note :-

  1. Answer five questions in all, selecting at leasts two questions from each section.
  2. All questions carry equal marks.
  3. Illustrate your answer with suitable sketch-maps and diagrams.

खण्ड-अ (Section-A)

  1. अपरदन-चक्र के संकल्प की विवेचना कीजिये तथा सामान्य अपरदन-चक्र से सम्बंधित स्थलाकृतियों का उल्लेख कीजिये।
    2. Discuss the concept of cycle of Erosion and mention the landforms associated with the Normal Cycle of Erosion.
  2. शीतोष्ण कटिबन्धीय चक्रवातों की उत्पत्ति, विशेषताओं एवं वितरण की व्याख्या कीजिये।
    3. Explain the origin, characteristics and distribution of temperate cyclones.
  3. अंध महासागर के तलीय उच्चावचन का विवरण प्रस्तुत कीजिये।
    4. Present an account of the bottom relief of the Atlantic Ocean.
  4. निम्नांकित में से किन्हीं दो पर व्याख्यात्मक टिप्पणियाँ लिखिये:
    (अ) भूकम्पलेखीय साक्ष्य एवं पृथ्वी की आंतरिक संरचना,
    (ब) जीवीय अनुक्रम,
    (स) भूमण्डलीय पारिस्थितिक मुद्दे।
    5. Write explanatroy notes on any two of the following:
    (a) Seismographical evidences and internal structure of the earth,
    (b) Biotic succession,
    (c) Global ecological issues.

    खण्ड-ब (Section-B)

  5. भूगोल के अभिनव चिन्तनफलकों की विवेचना कीजिये।
    6. Discuss the recent paradigms of Geography.
  6. विश्व-नगरीकरण के प्रतिरूपों प्रक्रमों एवं परिणामों का परीक्षण कीजिये।
    7. Examine the patterns, processes and consequences of World-Urbanization.
  7. वेबर के औद्योगिक अवस्थापना सिद्धान्त की विवेचना कीजिये तथा वर्तमान संदर्भ में इसकी सार्थकता का मूल्यांकन कीजिये।
    8. Discuss the Industrial Location Theory of Weber and evaluate its relevance in the present context.
  8. निम्नांकित में से किन्हीं दो पर व्याख्यात्मक टिप्पणियाँ लिखिये:-
    (अ) पोषणीय विकास की संकल्पना,
    (ब) जनांकिकीय संक्रमण सिद्धान्त,
    (स) संघवाद।
    9. Write explanatory notes on any two of the following :
    (a) Concept of sustainable development,
    (b) Demographic Transition Theory,
    (c) Federalisms.
