UPPCS Main Special Questions for GEORAPHY (First Paper) 2008

Time : Three hours][Maximum Marks : 200

नोट :-

  1. प्रत्येक खण्ड से कम से कम दो प्रश्नों को चुनते हुए कुल पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए।
  2. सभी प्रश्नों के अंक समान हैं।
  3. अपने उत्तरों को समुचित रेखा-मानचित्रों और आरेखों की सहायता से स्पष्ट कीजिये।

Note :-

  1. Attempt five questions in all, selecting at least two questions from each Section.
  2. All questions carry equal marks.
  3. Illustrate your answers with suitable sketch-maps and diagrams.

खण्ड-अ (Section-A)

  1. समुद्री तट रेखाओं के विकास एवं वर्गीकरण को सोदाहरण व्याख्या कीजिये।
    2. Explain with examples the evolution and classification of ocean shore line.
  2. विश्व के त्रि-कोषकीय याम्योत्तरीय वायु संचरण की विवेचना कीजिये।
    3. Discuss the tri-cellular meridional wind circulation of the world.
  3. समुद्री जल की लवणता के कारकों को समझाइये। इसके ऊर्ध्वाधर वितरण पर प्रकाश डालिये।
    4. Bring out the factors of salinity of ocean waters. Highlight its vertical distribution
  4. निम्नलिखित में से किन्हीं दो का आलोचनात्मक परीक्षण कीजिये-(अ) पृथ्वी की संरचना,
    (ब) चर्नोजम मिट्टियाँ,
    (स) जीवोम।
    5. Examine critically any two of the following :
    (a) Structure of the earth,
    (b) Chernozem soils,
    (b) Biome.

  5. “वास्तविक जीवन में तथ्यों की सार्थकता मनुष्य के सोद्देश्यपूर्ण अभिप्राय से पुष्टी होती है।” इस कथन के संदर्भ में घटना- क्रिया-विज्ञान एवं प्रत्यक्षवाद पर प्रकाश डालिए।
    6. "The meaningfulness of facts in real life is confirmed by the purposive attitude of man." In context of this statement highlight phenomenology and positivism.
  6. संसाधनों की संकल्पना एवं उनके वर्गीकरण का सकारण विवरण दीजिए।
    7. Give a reasoned account of the concept and classification of resources
  7. क्रिस्टालर के केन्द्र स्थल सिद्धान्त का वर्तमान संदर्भ में मूल्यांकन कीजिए।
    8. Evaluate the central place theory of Christaller in the present context.

    (अ) वैश्विक व्यापार केन्द्र।
    (ब) विश्व की समसामयिक भू-राजनीतिक समस्या।
    (स) अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रवजन के परिणाम
    9. Explain any two of the following :
    (a) Global trade centres.
    (b) Contemporary geo-political problem of the world.
    (c) Consequences of international migration.
