  • Recently, scientists highlighted the role of the Arabian Sea Mini Warm Pool (MWP) in stabilizing the Indian Summer Monsoon after disruptions caused by El Niño.
  • Arabian Sea Mini Warm Pools are small, high-temperature patches of water in the southeastern Arabian Sea near the Kerala coast that form every April–May and influence local wind and rainfall patterns.
