51st G7 Leaders’ Summit

The 51st G7 Summit was held from 15-17 June 2025 in Kananaskis, Canada.

  • Aim: To address global challenges, including climate change, supply chains, digital governance, and security issues.

  • Convened under the G7.
  • Hosted by Canada as the G7 Presidency.

  • Adoption of the Kananaskis Wildfire Charter to combat deforestation and land degradation.
  • Launch of the G7 Critical Minerals Action Plan for resilient supply chains.
  • Strengthening of the World Bank-led ‘Resilient and Inclusive Supply Chain Enhancement’ (RISE) Partnership.
