25T Bollard Pull Tug ‘Baljeet’

On 10th March, Cmde Rajat Nagar launched the 25T BP Tug "Baljeet" in Bharuch, Gujarat, as part of the "Make in India" initiative.

• Contract for construction and delivery of three Tugs signed with M/s Shoft Shipyard Pvt Ltd under "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" initiative.
• Tugs built under Indian Register of Shipping classification rules to meet operational commitments of Indian Navy.
• Tugs to provide assistance to Naval ships and submarines during berthing, un-berthing, and maneuvering in confined waters, along with firefighting and search and rescue capabilities.
