NIXI Launches Internet Governance Internship Program

On 18th January 2025, The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) introduced an Internet Governance Internship and Capacity Building scheme, offering six-month and three-month internship tracks.

NIXI's program provides two internship durations: a six-month track and a three-month track, catering to diverse candidates.
Interns will receive mentorship from international experts, special interest group members, retired government officials, and academic advisors.
A monthly stipend of ₹20,000 will be awarded to all interns to support their efforts during the program.
Interns are required to conduct mandatory outreach initiatives as part of the program to enhance internet governance awareness.
Applications for the internship can be submitted through NIXI's official website, ensuring easy access for eligible candidates.
