On 23rd January 2025, the Indian Navy’s INS Sarvekshak concluded the final phase of a hydrographic survey covering over 25,000 square nautical miles in Mauritius' waters.

- Hydrographic Survey Completion: INS Sarvekshak successfully surveyed Mauritius' waters, producing nautical charts and hydrographic data, which were handed over to Mauritius' President Dharambeer Gokhool.
 - Maritime Development: The new nautical chart supports Mauritius' maritime infrastructure, resource management, and coastal development planning.
 - Regional Cooperation: Aligning with India's SAGAR initiative, Indian Navy vessels have surveyed 89,000 sq. km in five years, generating 96 charts.
 - Indo-Mauritius Defence Ties: Mauritius benefits from India’s coastal radar system and operates aircraft and helicopters built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
