India and China Review LAC Situation

On 23rd July 2025, India and China held the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) meeting in New Delhi to review the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh and prepare for the next round of Special Representatives' dialogue on the boundary issue.

- Cultural Diplomacy and Connectivity: China has proposed reviving the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra and initiating direct flights to “inject new impetus” into India-China ties.
