NTPC, EDF Sign MoU for Nuclear Power Projects

On 8th April 2026, NTPC Limited signed a non-binding MoU with Électricité de France (EDF) to explore collaboration in developing nuclear power projects in India.

  • The MoU focuses on assessing feasibility, technology collaboration, and large-scale deployment of nuclear energy projects.

  • NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, currently operates more than 89 GW of installed capacity, with another 32 GW under construction.
