Unnat Krishi Mela Begins in Madhya Pradesh

On 11th April 2026, the three-day ‘Unnat Krishi Mela’ commenced in Raisen district(Madhya Pardesh) to promote technology-driven farming and boost agricultural productivity.

It brings together farmers, scientists, policymakers, and agri-industry stakeholders to discuss modern agricultural practices.
The mela features around 300 stalls showcasing improved seeds, fertilizers, irrigation systems, and advanced farm machinery.
Live demonstrations of equipment like happy seeders, reaper-binders, and rotavators are being conducted for farmers.
Experts from Indian Council of Agricultural Research and agricultural institutions are providing hands-on training and solutions.
Key topics include soil health, crop diversification, natural farming, pest management, and post-harvest technologies.
Special attractions include mobile soil testing labs, integrated farming models, and support for dairy, fisheries, and poultry.
