Next-Generation Offshore Patrol Vessel ‘Shruti’

On 11 August 2026, the Indian Navy’s next-generation offshore patrol vessel (NGOPV), Yard 3037, named Shruti, was launched at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata, marking another step towards strengthening India’s indigenous warship-building capabilities.
