3rd March: World Hearing Day

World Hearing Day is observed on 3rd March every year by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
The aim of this Day is to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world.
The theme for this year’s observation is “To hear for life, listen with care”.
Before 2016, the day was known as ‘International Ear Care Day’.
