CBI Academy Joins Interpol Global Academy Network

On 8th August, 2023, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Academy took a significant step towards enhancing international law enforcement collaboration by becoming the 10th member of the Interpol Global Academy Network.

• Strengthening International Ties: In a virtual ceremony, the CBI Academy solidified its affiliation with the Interpol Global Academy Network, signifying a commitment to fostering global cooperation in law enforcement training.
• The event was orchestrated by the CBI in partnership with the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation.
• Collaborative Efforts: The decision to join the Interpol Global Academy Network was reached through discussions with Interpol, in consultation with relevant authorities, including the Ministries of Home Affairs, External Affairs, and the Department of Personnel and Training.
• CBI Academy's Impact and Reach: Over the years, it has played a crucial role in training over 50,000 police officers.
• This training extends not only to domestic personnel but also to approximately 1,432 law enforcement professionals from SAARC nations, Africa, South East Asia, Central Asia, and West-Asia.
