148th IPU Assembly

Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh lead a seven-member delegation to the 148th IPU Assembly in Geneva organized from March 23-27, 2024.

The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) comprises 180 member countries.
Focus areas include parliamentary diplomacy, peace, and fostering understanding.
Delegation members include five Rajya Sabha members and Rajya Sabha Secretary General PC Mody.
Delegation to engage in various standing committee meetings on peace, development, democracy, and human rights.
