On 12th May 2024, Satish Joshi, a celebrated Marathi actor and theatre veteran, tragically passed away while performing on stage at the Rangotsav event in Mumbai, leaving the Marathi entertainment industry in shock.

Satish Joshi, known for his versatile roles in television serials, plays, and films, collapsed during a performance at the Girgaon Theatre, prompting his immediate transfer to Harkisan Das Hospital, where he breathed his last.
