EAM official Visit to Mauritius

Indian External Affairs Minister is on a two-day visit to Mauritius on July 16-17, 2024. He signed an MoU between India and Mauritius in Port Louis, with Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth.
Key Points
- During the meeting, Jaishankar and PM Jugnauth discussed "various aspects of bilateral ties, including the Development Partnership, Defence and Maritime Corporation, economic and trade ties, and people-to-people linkage.
- Indian EAM said that, India remains committed to strengthening this critical partnership that is so important for the future of the Indian Ocean region.
