Khichan and Menar Wetlands in Rajasthan Declared Ramsar Sites

On 4th June 2025, on the eve of World Environment Day 2025, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav announced the addition of Khichan (Phalodi) and Menar (Udaipur) to India’s list of Ramsar Sites, bringing the national tally to 91.
