On 4th July 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the nation’s highest civilian honour, during a formal ceremony in Port of Spain.

- PM Modi was honoured for playing a pivotal role in strengthening diplomatic, cultural, and strategic relations between India and Trinidad and Tobago.
