India and Russia Deepen Industrial Ties

On 6th August 2025, India and Russia reaffirmed their strategic partnership and signed a protocol to strengthen cooperation in key sectors such as aluminium, fertilizers, railways, and mining technology.

The agreement was concluded during the 11th session of the India-Russia Working Group on Modernization and Industrial Cooperation held in New Delhi.

High-Level Participation: The meeting was co-chaired by DPIIT Secretary and Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade in New Delhi.

Outcome: The session concluded with the signing of an official protocol, reaffirming India and Russia’s commitment to deepen industrial engagement and foster technology transfer across strategic sectors.
