India Clinch Asia Cup Hockey Title After 8 Years

On 7th September 2025, India ended an eight-year wait to reclaim the Asia Cup hockey title with a dominant 4-1 victory over Korea in the final held in Rajgir.

India got off to a dream start as Sukhjeet Singh scored in the very first minute after a brilliant run and pass from Harmanpreet Singh, setting the tone for the hosts in front of a packed home crowd.
Forward Dilpreet Singh struck twice, showcasing sharp finishing and composure in the circle, while Amit Rohidas added the fourth goal in the final quarter to seal India’s triumph.
This victory marked India’s fourth Asia Cup title, with their last success coming in 2017 in Dhaka, where they defeated Malaysia in the final.
