India Clinch Asia Cup Hockey Title After 8 Years

On 7th September 2025, India ended an eight-year wait to reclaim the Asia Cup hockey title with a dominant 4-1 victory over Korea in the final held in Rajgir.
- India got off to a dream start as Sukhjeet Singh scored in the very first minute after a brilliant run and pass from Harmanpreet Singh, setting the tone for the hosts in front of a packed home crowd.
- Forward Dilpreet Singh struck twice, showcasing sharp finishing and composure in the circle, while Amit Rohidas added the fourth goal in the final quarter to seal India’s triumph.
- This victory marked India’s fourth Asia Cup title, with their last success coming in 2017 in Dhaka, where they defeated Malaysia in the final.
