On 10th December 2025, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), launched a month-long awareness campaign across the Delhi Metro to promote the health, safety, and well-being of women and girls.

  • The campaign, inaugurated at Sultanpur Metro Station, will run through December and January, sharing messages on women’s safety, mental health, digital inclusion, PCPNDT Act compliance, and TB awareness across trains and select stations.
  • The campaign seeks to raise public awareness about the Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act and discourage gender determination, which continues to be misused through advancing technologies.
  • The drive also supports the national TB Mukt Abhiyaan, focusing on tuberculosis awareness in Delhi, a high-burden region, with an aim to activate a people's movement against the disease.
  • According to Ni-kshay portal data, Delhi recorded over 98,000 TB cases from January to October 2025, while nearly 8.78 lakh people were screened and 3.8 lakh chest X-rays conducted to accelerate TB detection.
