Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav 2025

On 11th December 2025, Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav 2025 was organised in New Delhi to mark the birth anniversary of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, celebrating India’s linguistic richness under the theme “Many Languages, One Emotion.”

• The Ministry of Education led the celebrations, emphasizing the nation’s linguistic diversity, while the Ministry of Tribal Affairs highlighted the cultural depth and vibrancy of tribal languages
• A dedicated stall by the Tribal Affairs Ministry showcased tribal language publications from the Tribal Research Institutes of Jharkhand, Odisha, and Gujarat, reflecting the diversity of indigenous linguistic traditions.
• The stall also featured a live demonstration of the Adi Vaani app, a digital tool enabling real-time text and speech translation between Hindi/English and various tribal languages.
