  • 20 Dec 2025

On 19th December 2025, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions launched Good Governance Week 2025 with a focus on grassroots service delivery.

  • The nationwide campaign, titled Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore, aims to strengthen last-mile governance by ensuring timely delivery of public services and effective grievance redressal mechanisms.
  • The campaign is structured in two phases, beginning with a preparatory phase followed by a full-scale implementation phase across districts and local administrative units.
  • During the preparatory phase conducted from 11 to 18 December 2025, government authorities resolved more than 2.11 lakh public grievances, reflecting a strong administrative push towards efficiency.
  • In the implementation phase, District Collectors across the country will organise special governance camps at tehsil, block, and panchayat levels to facilitate direct engagement between officials and citizens.
  • These camps are designed to enable on-the-spot grievance resolution, reduce procedural delays, and improve access to essential public services in rural and semi-urban areas.
