Rajasthan Clears AI-ML Policy 2026

On 30th December 2025, the Rajasthan Cabinet has approved the Rajasthan Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML) Policy, 2026, and the Green Credit Voucher Initiative-2025, aiming to boost technology-led governance, innovation-driven growth, and a green circular economy.

The Rajasthan Cabinet approved the AI-ML Policy, 2026 to position the state as a hub for technology-driven investment, innovation, and digital governance.
The policy aims to make public services faster, more transparent, citizen-centric, and administratively efficient while promoting innovation-led economic growth.
It emphasises ethical AI, focusing on transparency, accountability, fairness, privacy protection, bias reduction, and secure handling of personal data.
Provisions include explainable and auditable AI decision-making systems and clear mechanisms for reporting and resolving AI-related cybercrimes.
