• Parakram Diwas is observed annually on January 23 to honour the legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, one of India's most prominent freedom fighters and the founder of the Indian National Army (INA).
• The day is dedicated to remembering his role in India's struggle for independence and his vision of a strong, self-reliant nation.
