On 6th February 2026, India clinched the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026 title for a record sixth time, defeating England by 100 runs in the final held in Harare, Zimbabwe.

  • After winning the toss and opting to bat, India posted a massive total of 411/9 in 50 overs, powered by Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s explosive 175 off 80 balls, along with Ayush Mhatre’s 53 and Abhigyan Kundu’s 40.
  • Vaibhav Suryavanshi was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Series for his record-breaking performance in the final.
  • The win marked the largest margin of victory (by runs) in a U-19 World Cup final and India remained unbeaten throughout the tournament.
