National Conclave “Manthan” of Cooperation Ministers

On 17th February 2026, Union Home and Cooperation Minister inaugurated the National Conclave “Manthan” of State and Union Territory Cooperation Ministers at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.

Cooperation Ministers from all States and UTs, along with senior officials, participated in the day-long meeting.
The conclave reviewed progress on establishing 2 lakh new multi-purpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and expanding modern warehouses under the world’s largest grain storage plan.
Discussions focused on integrating states into national cooperative bodies for exports and seeds and ensuring time-bound computerisation of PACS.
Key agenda items included digitisation of cooperative banks, legal reforms in state cooperative laws and expansion of dairy networks in collaboration with Amul and NDDB.
