Pakistan Declares ‘Open War’ on Afghan Taliban

On 27th February 2026, Pakistan declared “open war” against the Taliban-led Afghan government following renewed cross-border clashes, airstrikes and retaliatory military operations along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
