NATO Launches ‘Cold Response’ Arctic Military Exercise

On 9th March 2026, NATO began its biennial Cold Response military drills in the Arctic region, involving around 25,000 troops from 14 countries, aimed at strengthening the alliance’s defence readiness in the European Arctic.
