Gujarat Launches 182 New State Transport Buses

On 18th March 2026, the Gujarat government launched 182 new state transport buses.

  • The buses were flagged off in Gandhinagar by CM Bhupendra Patel.
  • One bus has been allocated to each Assembly constituency.

  • The total cost of the 182 buses is around ₹62 crore.
  • Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) operates over 8,000 buses daily across Gujarat.
  • It covers nearly 33 lakh kilometres every day.
