ATL Sarthi & Mentor India Academy Launched

On 4th April 2026, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog launched the ATL Sarthi and Mentor India Academy in Telangana to strengthen grassroots innovation among school students.

The initiative will support 379 Atal Tinkering Labs across the state through structured mentorship and institutional backing.
It aims to help students transform ideas into real-world solutions, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation at an early stage.
The programme focuses on mentorship, teacher training, and incubation pathways, moving beyond just infrastructure support.
ATLs will be grouped into regional clusters, with Vardhaman College of Engineering serving as the nodal institution in Telangana.
It will provide exposure to emerging technologies, structured problem-solving, and opportunities to scale student innovations.
